Sherry O'Keefe, a descendant of Montana pioneers was raised in a rural power camp along the Missouri River in Montana and learned early on there are no rowboats waiting in the dawn. She attended MSU-Billings on a music scholarship where years of playing viola taught her to count to four repeatedly and how to appreciate the off-beat on and off the concert stage. She makes her home in Montana and maintains a blog.
Her most current work appears or is forthcoming in Camas, Switched-on Gutenberg, THEMA, PANK, Avatar Review, Prick of the Spindle, Inkwell, and Pirene’s Fountain. She is poetry editor for the new journal IthacaLit, guest poetry editor at YB Poetry, and the assistant poetry editor at Fifth Wednesday and The Centrifugal Eye.
