Mike Dennison has worked full time for more than three decades as a political reporter in Montana. His journalism career began in 1981, in Great Falls. He works currently as chief political reporter for MT Television Network, based in Helena, covering politics, campaigns, health care, energy and other topics. 

His new book, Inside Montana Politics: A Reporter's View from the Trenches, consolidates his experiences as a reporter into a book that examines "the historical arc of things I covered." A lot of what Mike saw and experienced did not go into the stories he filed with the newspapers and TV, so in his book he "wanted to talk about some of those things, especially the people that I covered.”

The audience for this book is very broad, and includes anyone who is interested in the politicals and economics of Montana, as well as Montana history.
