Jeanne Bowman is in love with books. With that in mind, her goal is to create as many wonderful, inspiring books as possible and she loves placing "in-jokes" in the details of her illustrations. Jeanne works traditionally, using watercolor and cut paper to make her illustrations.

A graduate of Rocky Mountain College, Jeanne has recently illustrated The Selfish Giant by Oscar Wilde for Familius Publishing. For a time, she lived in New Mexico where she edited the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators of New Mexico (SCBWI-NM) newsletter.
