Kids' Event: Story Time
If you enjoyed our Summer S.T.E.A.M. Series for Kids, you will want to come to Story Time this autumn. Miss Louisa will host Story Time on Monday afternoon, October 14, from 3:30 to 4:15, or so. Story Time will continue on the second and fourth Mondays until school lets out for the winter break.
Our reader this week will be none other than Miss Louisa! Joining Story Time on upcoming Mondays will be some of our favorite guest readers who will bring their favorite children's books to share with us. We plan to read from a variety of books, including picture books, fiction, history, science, biography, and more!
Bring a Book
You, too, can bring a favorite book to be read out loud to the group. This can be a fun way to share your interests with others.
Everybody is welcome! To start things off, we will choose books generally for kids ages 5-8. As Story Time develops we will refine our choices to best fit our audience.
We are trying out a new concept with this Story Time. If you like the idea and want to see us continue with it, please show up to this Story Time. If you can't make it, be sure to let us know that you will join us on the other Monday Story Times. Whether we continue depends on your response.
During the week, your best bet for finding a convenient parking space is to try one of the nearby parking garages which are less expensive than the meters. Park 3, near the corner of Second Ave N. and North 27th street, is easiest to use. It is about two blocks from our door and featuring the marvelous mural of Billings History by Terri Porta.
