Author Event for Kids: Jean Petersen & Cindi Hoiness
Member-owner Jean Peterson will present her latest children's book, Kind Soup, on Saturday afternoon, October 26 starting at 1 o'clock. Joining her will be member-owner Cindi Hoiness presenting her book, Rooter Can't Breathe.
Jean Petersen was trained as a journalist. She has been a longtime columnist for Western Ag Reporter. Her weekly children's column is called Life on the Ranch with Banjo. Her latest children’s book is Kind Soup. It is a picture book targeted to an audience of children ages five to seven years. Kind Soup is distinctly Christian in orientation, a balanced and blessed blend of the biblical Fruits of the Spirit, wrapped in prayer and ladled out with love. It includes a complete recipe for families to make.
Cindi Hoiness, a registered nurse, wrote Rooter Can’t Breathe. It is a story about a packrat that just learns he has asthma and his journey with his friends on how important it is to take his medication and also to continue to exercise to keep his lungs strong. It’s great for ages 5 on up and should be helpful to families and friends of a child with asthma.
Call us today at (406) 534-1133 to preorder your copy of Jean's book. It is not yet generally available, and you'll want to have a copy in hand for her to sign.
